There is some of the best bass fishing in the southeast on Norris Lake. Relax in our RV campground on privately-owned land – free from TVA restrictions. We offer tent sites and nightly R.V sites. If camping is too rustic, we offer a 9-room and 10 Park Model cabins. We also rent a 3 bedroom house with a view of the lake.
Summer days on Norris Lake are hot. And Hickory Star is a great place to spend some time. We offer Tri-Toon boat rentals and nightly boat slips if you bring your own boat. Check out our events list for concerts, parties and tournaments all summer long.
Even though many of our rooms have kitchens, if you don’t feel like cooking. Hickory Star is home to one of the best restaurants on Norris Lake. Arjay’s Grill is open through the summer months and has a wide variety of food options.
We offer an Event Center that is a great location for family reunions, wedding receptions, business retreats, or anyone who enjoys outdoor activities. Contact us to reserve facilities for your group.

Boat Slips, Buoy Lines and Houseboat Slips
Hickory Star Marina is the launching point for hundreds of boats, thousands of adventures, and a million “big fish stories.” Boaters and anglers from all over East Tennessee and southeastern Kentucky choose to park their boats with us. We offer covered slips and nightly slip rentals are available for campers, but call ahead to make sure we have a space open.
