New upgrades coming
Mark and Brad Bardo from Fort Thomas, Kentucky have purchased the lease this month on the marina. Immediately, construction started to renovate the boat store. A new roof and siding has changed the appearance considerably. Inside, the entire store is being gutted and expanded to accommodate a small restaurant with simple food items, beer and all varieties of soft drinks will be for sale. A huge outdoor gas/picnic area is in place with new pumps to service up to 7 boats. Full pump out service is also available. The marina will be a FULL BAIT center. For this season, Brad will be adding 3 brand new houseboats for rental. These boats, the first to arrive around May 1, will be 16′ x 76″ monsters sleeping 14. Four new pontoon boats, 24′ foot with 90 hp Mercury motors, are on the way. These will take 14 persons also. 2 ski/runabout boats will be on-site. Mark is looking for as much of these improvements to be completed sometime over the next 3-4 weeks. 40 new slips are to be constructed as soon as possible.
