Big Ridge State Park offers a variety activities that include 19 cabin rentals, 50 campsites, biking, swimming, playgrounds (sand volleyball, softball field, two tennis courts, basketball courts, horseshoe pits), picnic areas, hiking trails and Norton Grist Mill.

Maynardville, TN - Big Ridge State Park located at 1015 Big Ridge Park Road, offers 3,687 acres along the beautiful southern shores of TVA's Norris Reservoir. The park is located just 25 miles north of Knoxville, TN and offers outdoor recreation that everyone is sure to enjoy!
Big Ridge State Park offers has 20 one-bedroom rustic cabins built in 1936 and 50 campsites to accommodate RV trailers up to 35 ft with paved slip and a soft gravel pad. Cabins are open from April 1 through October 31. Pets are only permitted in designated pet-friendly cabins. The campsites near Norris Lake accommodate RV's, trailers, and tents. Each site includes water and electrical hook-ups. Picnic table and grill are also available. Dumping station and three bath houses with restrooms and hot show facilities are provided. Bathhouses #2 and #3 are closed during the off-season from November 1 to March 31.
Activities include biking, swimming, playgrounds (sand volleyball, softball field, two tennis courts, basketball courts, horseshoe pits), picnic areas, hiking trails, Norton Grist Mill, recreation hall and year round fishing. Reservations are available through the park office or online. Swimming is available from Memorial Day through Labor Day. No life guards are available.

Directions: Take I-75 exit 122, take Hwy 61 east for 12 miles. Park entrance on the left.
